God of War III Firefox Theme...Coming Soon!

I've been away for a while now, staying busy with other things, but I've found a little time lately to work on a theme based on the PS3 game: God of War 3. As before, with the original God of War theme for Firefox, I have taken the time to carefully draw all icons used and will also include several God of War images in various windows, panels, etc. It'll be unique and it's something that I'm sure fans of the series will enjoy. *I'm not building it for Firefox 4 (right now)...There's just too much that can still change with that release.

At this time, the original God of War theme for Firefox is fairly popular holding around 18,000 weekly downloads. I'm glad to see it has sparked interest. It's always nice to see something you worked hard on be used by others. Thanks for all the support and please continue to donate...it helps. Thanks again!

God of War

I just recently created a theme based on the God of War game series. If you've never played this game series before, you should reeally check it out! (If you are a PS2 owner that is.) It's made for the fans out there, as well as those that enjoy a dark theme. This one took a lot of work. I spent countless hours trying to design my own God of War icons - as well as do my very best to theme all windows/panels/etc.

Toolbar icons are big. If you're looking for minimalism, then this theme isn't for you. (Although, when set to "small icon mode" the viewable window isn't very different from the most popular themes at AMO - I've checked.)

*Update* I've gone through and made the theme a lot darker than it currently appears on AMO. The black that I chose for the original design seemed a lot darker/richer on my screen settings, but after viewing on other computers and taking in feedback from others, I've decided to change it a little. Other than being made darker, you'll notice more gloss and a difference in tab appearance as well. I think these changes will appeal more to those that like dark themes. I chose not to make the toolbar icons smaller at this time. As I said, even on large icon mode, the other default toolbars are trimmed in such a way that the screen space is not much different than many other popular themes. I've compared it to NASA Night Launch, for example, which is currently the most popular theme available. Plus, due to the complexity of the icons, they look much better on a larger scale. Thirdly, this theme is not designed for efficiency/space-saving...it's for fans of this theme type.

MushroomKingdom: Over 500,000 downloads!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has downloaded and tried the MushroomKingdom theme for Firefox. Since it's initial release, it's been downloaded well over 500,000 times (just at Mozilla AddOns)!

It's a real joy to know that I've created a theme that grabs the attention of so many Firefox users out there. I'll continue to work hard improving this theme for future releases and explore new ways to bring Mario to your browsing world!

The Legend of MoZelda

The Legend of Zelda theme I’ve been post-poning for a while now has just been added to the Sandbox at AMO. It’s called MoZelda. Of course there are still things to do. Many will be happy to know that an update of MushroomKingdom for Firefox 3.5 is currently available!

I appreciate all of the emails I’ve gotten regarding this theme. I had no idea there were so many MK users out there! I’m sorry for the delay in getting an update released. My main job takes up most of my time and leaves little room for anything else. A theme takes a lot of work.

This theme is based on the highly popular gaming system: The Nintendo Wii. I’ve seen this requested on many sites, forums, etc…so here’s one for all the fans out there.

WiiFox features the light tones and beautiful blues present in the actual gaming system’s design. The buttons are simplistic for functionality and compliment the theme’s overall design very well.
So, spread the word, a theme based on Nintendo Wii is finally here! Enjoy WiiFox!

Luminight v1.1

The goal of LumiNight is to be modern & dark, with icons that can be understood easily at a glance. I went into it trying to avoid gloss-overkill and shiny orbs. This theme tries to be as straight-forward as possible, while appealing to those that like a darker theme. Presently, this theme is available for Windows only.
